The monument consists of a granite base with water basins, four over-life-size female figures, a white Euville limestone obelisk, and a gilded bronze relief of Alice. Stone obelisk with at the base on the corners four female figures and on the faces olive trees with respectively: on the front a relief portrait of Grand Duchess Alice, and the name ALICE. On the sides a laurel wreath on the back a shield with the coat of arms of Hessen and the British royal coat of arms.
